"Where Memories Are Made"
A Labor of Love -
Upon the passing of Sherry Linscott's brother
Michael John Looney, the idea of making a
difference through art in a variety of forms was
begun.  Both Sherry and her husband Chuck
wanted to not only grant Michael's request, of
"sharing my art with others", but to also
promote the Swedish village of Bishop Hill,
Illinois that Michael photographed and drew so
often.

Michael J. Looney's use of the Giclée Method
of art creation will render an image of
exceptional clarity. Giclée prints will exceed
your greatest expectations.  With a pallet of over
7 million colors, and a process delivering up to 4
million droplets of ink per second, prints can be
reproduced from transparency, or directly from
the original without compromising detail and
color vibrancy.

All of Michael J. Looney's Giclée prints are
signed, numbered, limited editions certified.

Prints of local Bishop Hill scenes, as well as Rail Art that were photographed using a digital
camera and then enhanced using a computer and archivally printed using the Giclée process of
printing and then museum quality framed are being offered.  A percentage of monies earned
from the sale of Michael's Giclee prints is used for the continuation of the Michael J. Looney
Memorial Scholarship  which is presented each year to a student pursuing a career in the field of
art or architectural design.

All prints are printed on 100% cotton rag paper (watercolor), acid free mats, board, and
backing,  and archival ink, with framed prints also receiving museum conservation glass thereby
making the framed prints truly a museum quality Giclee piece of art.
