Services:
Water & Garbage -
The Village Clerk takes care of the water and garbage payments.  The rate for residents is
$21.00 per month ($15.00 for water and $6.00 for garbage).  Make checks out to "Village of
Bishop Hill."  Send payments to the Village of Bishop Hill, P. O. Box 117, Bishop Hill, IL  61419-
0117.  Business and restaurant water rates are different and they contract for their own
garbage/trash removal.  There are dumpsters at the Water Tower for residents.  We ask that you
burn all that you can.  This will help delay future price increases for trash service.  Recycling
bins are also at the Water Tower.  There is a dump for yard waste, located north of the ball park
(on Park Street), alongside the ravine.  There are signs posted at each site.
